“Adolescence” was directed by Ashley Avis. Ashley Avis through directing this movie, has since shown the world that she is a brilliant gem of a director. The cinematography was absolute brilliance in this gem of a film. Mickey River(the film was based loosely on his life), was phenomenal in “Adolescence.”

Mickey River reminded me a bit of a much better and cooler Jesse Eisenberg. India Eisley was phenomenal in this beautiful film too. Romeo(rapper), was phenomenal in this film as Adam(Mickey River)’s friend.

The key moment is when Adam learns it’s time for him to move on. Adam tried his best to save his girlfriend(India Eisley) from addiction, but to no avail. The saddest scene is when Adam(Mickey River) and Shep(Tommy Flanagan) hug and say goodbye. Also, the soundtrack by Peter Gregson(A Little Chaos soundtrack) will make you cry by itself, it’s so beautiful.

Legal Action starts off a little slow, not slower than to be expected. The film starts off slow to set up the plot of the film. Once the viewer sees Mr. Gates(Tommy Flanagan — Braveheart, Gladiator, Sons of Anarchy), the film really takes off from there. Eric Close is phenomenal and badass as Casey McKay – the lawyer who seeks justice for his client who was falsely accused. Pru McKay(Tanya Clarke), ex wife of Casey is the perfect balance. She’s a woman who you find out can hold her own as the movie progresses.

I liked the fact that “Legal Action,” was a mix of a Western and Mystery-detective genre like Masterpiece Theatre almost. This mix of genres made for one roller coaster of a film of emotions.

I also loved the bit of comedy which was able to be put into the film, but which did not take away from the film, like: “Sorry sunshine, but the world’s not gonna see yeh like that, like an ex con…” – Mr. Gates(Tommy Flanagan)

Eric Close was a great choice as Casey McKay to go up against Tommy Flanagan as Mr. Gates. I thought that Eric Close gave Tommy a run for his money. At one point I found myself “rooting” for Casey despite always “rooting” for Mr. Gates because I was always on his side.

The whole cast: Eric Close, Tanya Clarke, Gunner, Christian James, Mark Ashworth and of course Tommy Flanagan were all phenomenal. I think Tommy shined just a bit more than everyone else.

Photo Of Christian James – my first tought was: why has he not been cast as Superman yet?!

Photo Of: Tommy Flanagan as Mr. Gates – BADASS CHEEKY DEVIL ^~^ he is.

Sarah R. Photo By: Tommy Flanagan himself. One of the many of projects Tommy Flanagan is currently filming is “The Rising Hawk,” which also stars Robert Patrick(X-Files, Sons of Anarchy). Tommy Flanagan is portraying a Mongolian King – Tugar. The film is being filmed currently in Kiev, Ukraine. Another photo via Tommy Flanagan. Think “Attila,” only this looks to be so much better! It is also great to see Tommy as a King – King Tugar. Some other films which should be coming out soon are: “Papillon,” “The Chickasaw Rancher,” “3 Way Junction,” “American Fighter,” “Legal Action,” “Adolescence,” and “Killers Anonymous.” Besides all of those films which should be due out shortly, 🤔💭I think Tommy might get a small reprieve before joining up with a lot of the Sons of Anarchy cast for a comic con type of thing again.

I wanted to say thank you to you Dina. Thank you for sharing Tommy with the world. Thank you for all that you have done – everything you have produced. Thank you for “Swifty and Veg,” and the Winachi Tribe’s video “A Room with a Zoo.” Thank you for allowing people glimpses with you and Tommy – beautiful couple. I suppose I just wanted to say – thank you Aunjanue Flanagan for all that you are and everything that you will be. ❤ Thank you Tommy and Dina for sharing all the precious photos of Aunjanue – she’s a beautiful princess.

Thank You Tommy Flanagan

Where to start…whatta damn straight rootin’ tootin’ shootin’ cowboy phenomenally epic Western in ages. Peter Fonda the legend as Edward Johnson – for like, about the 15 – 20 minutes or so he has in the film sets up the whole – beautifully drama filled and action packed Western. Having not seen Kathy Baker in anything since, “Gilmore Girls,” it was awesome to see her in a Western. She held her own as Laura Johnson in this awesome Western film. Edward Johnson(Peter Fonda) and Laura Johnson(Kathy Baker)also made a damn great couple as one can see in the above photo. Bill Pullman as Lefty Brown was amazing all throughout the whole movie. Bill Pullman definitely came back with a kick in this excellent Western film “The Ballad of Lefty Brown.” The intro to Jim Caviezel as Jimmy Bierce and U.S. Marshal Tom Harrah(Tommy Flanagan) holy shite – was that one of the most phenomenal things to ever see. Joseph Lee Anderson – watch him – he was brilliant all throughout the film. The other one to watch – Diego Josef as Jeremiah – Holy SHIIII—was he phenomenal! Watch him in this and stay his fan. Joe Anderson – brilliant as the baddest mfer in the film. Michael Spears was brilliant in this film as well. Back to — Jim Caviezel in this phenomenally brilliantly beautiful Western – his character Jimmy Bierce ain’t no Jesus – his character to parallel today would be Trump-like.

I can understand all the articles and other reviews giving so many awards to Bill Pullman – all well deserved. However, as Peter Fonda said; “I’m so upset that Tommy wasn’t put up for a best supporting actor for the SAG AWARDS. I have always loved Bill Pullman, but Tommy had the best arc of character and did it marvelously.”

Loved Tommy as Tom Harrah adding only his kind of gruff – scruffiness – hard edge almost growl when his character is pissed.I think those words from Peter Fonda marvelously depict what is only so easy to see. Damn good acting! Phenomenal. I would give Tommy as Tom Harrah 🏆🏆🏆🏆a million awards if I could-he put so much of his heart into the role. He dragged me on the most emotional roller coaster from sad, to laughing, to feeling his pain, then anxious AF near the end, then sad again. Though Bill Pullman as Lefty Brown was the hero at the end of the film. I would like to say that Tommy as Tom Harrah will forever be engraved on my heart and that his character will always live on as one of the heroes in my mind. Jared Moshe directed this movie excellently and Edward Parks and David MacFarland both did such a damn excellent job as well. I rest my case, but this film is a definite MUST-WATCH!

I have to make a debit card purchase on Amazon to leave a review there, in the meantime…

I absolutely and unequivocally loved “Parallel.” It makes you think from the opening credits, it might be a horror movie – then does a complete 180. I thought all of the cast was brilliant. I love the discussion about red and white wine at the party. I loved the psychic – medium element in the film. Brian Carter was phenomenal as Machlis. The way “Parallel,” was directed was excellent, every new scene-hooked one in right away. Which made you want to continue to watch the rest of the film. I kept thinking in bits why this film was not on the big screen. Faye Sewell as Heather was brilliant. She showed great facial features, when trying to decide on how to pursue a coarse of action. I kept thinking Daniel Westwood as Roy could easily be the next Colin Farrell. David Magowan was brilliant as Neil-I kept thinking he’d be like the next Tobias Menzies. Alexander Cooper was brilliant for the few moments one saw him as Peter. I loved how the film clearly separated the alternate in black/white from the reality, which so many movies fail to do this film did it excellently. Also, this film had a great balance with erotic and non-erotic scenes. Francesca Sgro was amazing as Rhianna-making all of the scenes in the parallel realm juicy between Rhianna and Neil. I loved the twist at the end of the film-overall I would give this movie a high rating. The film accomplished everything a film should without being overly jumpy like many similar films have been.

“The Ballad of Lefty Brown,” directed by Jared Moshe stars none other than: Tommy Flanagan(Sons of Anarchy – Chibs Telford), Bill Pullman, Kathy Baker(Gilmore Girls), Peter Fonda, Joseph Lee, and Jim Caviezel(The Passion of Christ – Jesus). “The Ballad of Lefty Brown,” is one of the best of the Western genre in a good long while.

Bill Pullman portrays the main character Lefty Brown who goes after those who killed his friend. Peter Fonda portrays Lefty Brown’s friend. Jim Caviezel’s character joins in to help Lefty Brown enact his revenge. Tommy Flanagan portrays an on the wagon-seemingly at first “washed up,” U.S. Marshal Tom Harrah. However, I think by the end of the film, he ain’t “washed up.” Bill Pullman from what I have read has resurrected not just his film career, but the Western genre as well. Josh Board of “Fox 5 San Diego,” had this to say about the film: “We went in to see a Western — a genre I’m not a big fan of. Yet The Ballad of Lefty Brown was terrific. Bill Pullman plays Lefty Brown, who is a bit of a bumbling goofball, and the right hand man to rancher Peter Fonda. Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy) plays an alcoholic marshal, and with each drink he took…I took a sip from my Buzz Box. All I needed was a spittoon by my side. Jim Caviezel plays the slimy, backstabbing politician. This movie was a blast.” Then, Zach Ward tweeted: “WATCH THEM BEFORE THEY DIE! Cause theres none like ’em. And you’ll miss it when you’re cold and lonely. Tommy Flanagan owns silence and violence like a bad dream. Watch a be warned!”

It’s true, about Tommy Flanagan as writer/director Heidi Greensmith once said, “He acts from his heart, not his head.” And we have only seen glimpses before-like “Braveheart,” “Gladiator,” and of course “Sons of Anarchy.” What I love myself is being able to act as such a variety of characters-he was kind of a “character-actor,” before who is finally getting the damn due he deserves slowly but surely.

I decided to set out and start interviewing some people. So, I started out with “The Winachi Tribe,” a really awesome independent band! I do have to say thank you to Harry Brigden(manager of The Winachi Tribe), the band themself, and Liam Croker. I would also like to say, thank you to Tommy Flanagan(actor). If it was not for him, I would never have known about ‘The Winachi Tribe,’ or how brilliant they are.
Below are my questions, and Liam’s answers:
1. How did all of you come up with the band name, “The Winachi Tribe?”

Liam: “We once went by the name ‘China White’, but our manager Harry Bridgen pointed out to us that ‘China White’ is a street name for Heroin in the U.S and that would wouldn’t get very far being named after smack!!! so Antony from the band came up with the name ‘The Winachi Tribe’…The Winachi is an anagram of ‘China White’. We’re were supporting Ringo Stars Son Zk Starkey in London in January 2015. We went onstage as ‘China White’ and came off as ‘The Winachi Tribe’.”

2. How long have you known Tommy Flanagan for? Liam: “We’ve known Tommy for just over a year.”
3. What are two or three of each of your inspirations – or favorite songs re: music? Liam: “Music, Life and the World that we live in are the three big inspirations. They all have a part in the music we create. If you’re not inspired by life then you must be dead.”
4. What is one of your favorite movies each with Tommy Flanagan in it? Liam: “My favourite Tommy movies are Braveheart & Gladiator.”
5. What is your favorite movie without Tommy Flanagan in it? Liam: One Flew Over The Cookoos Nest & Fear and Loathing In Lost Vegas.”
6. How did you guys all come to create your band The Winachi Tribe? Liam: “The band was formed over a number of years. Me and Antony started it, then Sam and Inder joined, then later Jamie and Richie. It took a few years of different line-ups etc to get it together but around 2015 it all fell into place. We’re now ready to take it round the world.”
7. What is one thing each of you hope your music will do? Liam: “Turn people on, make people move, make people think, make people smile. We’ve got big aspirations. We want the world to hear ‘The Winachi Tribe’…and they will…trust me they will.”

I hope that this small interview/blog post turns perhaps some more people onto them, and their music.

Papillion Movie TIFF the movie “Papillion,” a remake from the older version will be at the Toronto International Film Festival Sept 7 – Sept 17.

Tommy will also be making an appearance at the Walker Stalker Con in Philidelphia. The Philidelphia Walker Stalker Con is Sept 30 – Oct 1st. Don’t miss your chance at meeting Tommy Flanagan – I highly recommend if you have a chance to do so. Tommy is a phenomenal guy to meet one on one. I don’t think I could ever run out of nice things to say about him.

Not sure when “3 Way Junction will be out,” though photos are appearing more and more so hopefully soon. I also have no idea about the movie, “The Jesuit.” “Adolescence,” is also coming soon too eventually as is “The Ballad of Lefty Brown.” More info will be updated – when that info becomes available.
